We’re dedicated to protecting people, ecosystems, and natural resources from the threats that endanger our shared future. These challenges include illegal logging, mining in forest reserves, unsustainable farming, and forest encroachment. We also stand with local communities whose rights are often violated by private and public sector actors during the exploitation of natural resources in their areas.
Our work focuses on practical, hands-on solutions — restoring degraded landscapes, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and empowering communities through training and education. We also advocate for climate justice, inclusive resource governance, and policies grounded in research and real-world evidence.
Big things are happening in the Western North Region of Ghana 🌱
Our community nursery is thriving — with 12,000 seedlings already taking root, including Mansonia, Cedrella, and Terminalia superba. These young trees will help restore community forests and degraded lands across the Bia Landscape. But this nursery is more than just a place for trees — it’s a hub of local empowerment, ecological restoration, and climateresilience. By nurturing indigenous species, we’re protecting biodiversity, supporting livelihoods, and helping communities adapt to climate change. And we’re just getting started. Our goal: 100,000 seedlings in the next 2 years (Planting 50,000 per year) — growing hope, one tree at a time. 🌳
